My insurance covers vision, so I can\\\'t comment on fees. However, Dr. Harvey is very personable and efficient, and has access to the latest diagnostic equipment. She showed me digital pictures of my eyes and pointed out the areas needing attention. I switched to her several years ago after she won a local award as the best optometrist. His state of the art office is fully equipped with the latest technologies allowing him to offer a level of care that far surpasses any other offering within the province. Dr Vyas is my favorite optomistrist that I\'ve ever had. He has explained long time issues that I\'ve had with my eyes in a way that I understand and that no other doctor has bothered to do. He has also performed tests that no other doctor has bothered to do and as a result, i have recieved better quality care. Even simply from a technology perpective, Dr Vyas has all of the latest equipment and thus is able to offer more than any other doctor in the provnice. He is the #1 optomitrist in Ontario. She took the time to explain the condition, how it affects me, and how it will likely affect me if it continues at the current very slow rate of degradation. Whenever I go to Dr Lu's office on Spring Garden Road there is one of his employees who screams "Where you glasses" in broken english whenever I walk into the office without my prescription glasses on. I have explained time and again to her about my eye watering whenever the wind hits my eyes. It's bad enough that tears are running down my face and I can't see where I'm going. Dr Lu and his staff couldn't adjust eyewear if there lives depended on it. I went there 3 times for an adjustment and the 4th time I went to the Mic Mac Mall office. Ihave been a patient of Dr. Nardone's group for the past 10 years. I don't think I've ever actually seen Dr. Nardone, but the other Optometrist I have seen have been very knowledgeable and through. I would recommend this practice for that reason. However, I am said to report that since they have combined their offices to Fennell Avenue, I have found their office staff less than courteous and at the bottom end of offering any type customer service. On my last visit, I decided to shop for my new glasses in their shop rather than go to my usual place. It was a huge mistake. I had to stand for the measurements for my bi-focals and was told my glasses would be ready in 7 days. After 7 days they called to let me know my glasses were ready. When I went to pick them up, again I had to stand for the fitting. I could not read a thing with the glasses. They had been improperly measured.They had to send them back to be corrected. I, my husband, my son, my daughter and her six children all see Dr. Lukenchuk. My mother saw him, until her death, two years ago. My sister, her four children and her two grandchildren see Dr. Lukenchuk. I have sent numerous other relatives, neighbours and friends to him and not once has anyone complained to me or left him for another optometrist. Dr. Lukenchuk goes out of his way to listen, help and treats his patients with kindness and care. He takes time to research new technologies and spends a tremendous amount of money on new equipment to make sure his patients always have the best care! i moved downtown from Oshawa a few weeks ago & went to this doc. for my eye check up. I got his name thru friends who went there. I had to wait a bit (about 35 minutes) but it was ok. The lady there was nice, but they were busy! The doc. gave me good advice about my eyes, he asked a lot about what I do. He took a close up picture of my eye, it was really cool!
