Dr Monea is the worst Optometrist I have ever been to in my whole life. She misdiagnosed my eye disease for years and by the time I went for a second opinion, it was already too late to do anything about my disease. She is only in it for the money and pushes you to buy glasses from her. She doesn't seem to care about anything else but the money you are willing to spend. I will certainly not return!

Dr. Monea is quirky and unlike any doctor I have been to. (bizarre fake nails, wacky hair do and wired clothes) She repeats herself constantly, which gets annoying after a while. I feel she is in it for the money. I bought a pair of progressive transition glasses from her office and I feel that I paid a lot more there than I would have at an optical outlet. She wants me to come in 6 months to check for a supposed cataract "to keep an eye on it", but of course I will be charged for the visit. Last year she told my teenage son he needed to see a specialist for an eye condition, but by the time the appointment came, the eye had healed up on its own. On a positibve note, she does not charge for retinal pictures on my children that our previous optometrist wanted to charge $40 for.

Dr. Monea is not too bad and definitely rather entertaining. Some of her staff, however, are rude and impolite. The office claims to be very child friendly, yet some of the staff have no clue what kids are about and don't seem to care for or acknowledge them. Why false advertise then???
