Avoid this optometrist at all cost. My grandma, who is older than 65, should receive her eye examination for free. However, Albert Ng did an "extra" examination for her without telling her it would cost extra. After the examination was done, Albert Ng asked for payment to "cover his cost of the new machine." I advise you to go elsewhere rather than benefit this crook.

See-rite Optometry has many problems. We have been going to them for the last ten years and the service and quality of service i received was very poor. I had an eye appointment with a Dr. Shen, who dilated my pupils and gave me an eye exam. You definitely should avoid this doctor as he will use scare tactics on you. For instance, after my eye exam,he asked me a very strange and unprofessional question. He asked me what the three signs of retinal detachment were. This question is very strange, as Dr. Shen is the optometrist and i am the patient/customer. He He proceeded to further use scare tactics to try and reinforce the point that i should come and see him every two years. Furthermore, it has been three days already since my pupil dilation and i am still feeling discomfort and irritation in my eyes. I believe he used concentrated eye drops to dilate my pupils, therefore, causing my eyes to feel unwell

DR. SHEN is a MUST avoid and let me be clear, he will scare you for no reason during your appointment.

Hi Viv,Thank you for your comment I am glad that you enjyoed the post. It is very true that scientists are very open to the Metaphysical world, and some are actually at the forefront of this Spiritual Planetary Awakening that is happening so forcefully and with such pace at the moment. I concentrated on Metatronic Healing as that is the healing that we offer at Lomax Bespoke Health in our center in Victoria, London. It is also the healing that I have been trained in and am one of many who have found that energies we are working with are very profound and have produced deep and long lasting changes in our client's lives. As to what works for you I believe that it is a question of following your instinct and you will find the healing that is best I don't believe that one size fits all, you have to resonate with it and feel drawn to going to have a treatment yourself to find out. Please do let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. As for sources for more reading what were you looking for? There are wonderful books such as The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle which describes the current awakening to spirituality with beautiful clarity relating it to us the layman and how we can implement this into our everyday life. Also if you were interested in learning more about Metatronic Healing then Pippa Merivale's book Rescued by Angels (available on Amazon) is fascinating. Please do let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.Best wishesPhilipa

DaviMack:You won't go blind. Feel the force of will being applied here. You raizele that someday S.A.M. will find out that you have a blog, and will want to read it, will devour it in a weekend, and will find these things about himself? He'll perhaps do a search on where he's mentioned, dig out the page or two in your blogs where he is and let's just hope that you've gotten to know him a bit more before then.Regarding your sister's shindig? If I have to play the piano in public, you have to sing solos. Just saying. It's all your fault that little old ladies are looking at me with greedy eyes. 18 years of anonymity down the tubes.

Dude, you have WAY too much time on your hands! Speaking of time now that I have some, I decided to do my best to flfuill your fantasy of dining on a concoction of hamburger and lima beans neither of which I have ever served you, by the way. I was surprised when Google found a number of responses to my query for recipes with hamburger and lima beans. So, next time you visit, be wary! I'll leave the rest of your fantasies to the Nordic Warrior Queen.

I used to own a few American Chameleons, also called the Green Anole. They are pettry good pets. They don't stink, the terrarium is pettry inexpensive, and if you get the right one they are kind of mellow and almost affectionate. I had one that would let me hold him and I could let him out of the terrarium to roam the room and put him away without a fight. Plus they are cheap. Like $7 at the pet store.

Even with insurance there is still a huge amnuot that we end up paying. But it helps then the problem is there are so many things (tests) that the insurance doesn't cover. And ours will only pay for new frames every other year so this past year I got smart saved my frames from the previous year and took them in with me to get my new lenses put into them (I really like them anyway, so why change). I will do the same thing next year and get an extra pair (one to stay on my desk one for in my purse) and possibly one for my nightstand. This will help with all the times I can't remember where I set my glasses (you know how old people get).

Wow, a giuhsng Wow, a giuhsng endorsement. I'm thinking the new cancer drug' the ND is touting is Iscador / mistletoe extract. CAUTION: see Questionable Cancer Therapies at Quackwatch regarding its known lack of efficacy. It would be a shame to forgo better standard treatment with something as serious as cancer.-r.c.

Hello there,I really atcperiape you giving feedback about your profession. I currently attend UH-Clear Lake in hopes of graduating with my Bachelor in Human and Fitness Performance, however, I have always had a passion and curiosity for Optometry. I first attended UT-San Antonio in that direction, but as soon as I saw Physics I and II I ran out the door screaming. I am now in Physics I 3 years later haha! Anyway, I am looking back into Optometry because during my latest Anatomy course I was still so fascinated with it. I am looking into the University of Houston at the moment to see what I may need to do to pursue that feild. If you have anymore advice please let me know. Again, I really do atcperiape your time and service to our community. God Bless, Stephanie S. Suarez

FireSnow and Sitter are right. I was at the game last night (Yes, I’m bragging, besauce I don’t get to go to many Islander games since moving to the Dallas area), and I immediately asked my brother, “Why is Haley scratched?” – Not out of curiosity, but in fury. Matt Martin is a God send. I love having this guy on the team. And as for the instigator and the fighting, the instigator has actually made fighting in hockey worse and more dangerous. So instead of fights out of passion, we get the “1-2-3-GO!” fights. And that aint hockey, it’s stupid. Martin did the right thing last night, and if there was no instigator, Fistric would have paid at a later point, and rightfully so. Dallas hits Long Island during their forthcoming road trip, and I hope that it’s another February 11-type blood bath. I hate Fistric, and I didn’t feel this way before last night, but I hate the Stars. I hope we anhialate them!!

The pinhole does not imrvpoe or relax your eyes. It simply minimizes abberations coming from stray light rays. It's the reason that squinting termporarily helps people who are nearsighted see better; decrease the aperture size and less stray light rays get through the pupil. This is not a solution to improving your eyesight.

What a great web log. I spend hours on the net reading blogs, about tons of vaouirs subjects. I have to first of all give praise to whoever created your theme and second of all to you for writing what i can only describe as an fabulous article. I honestly believe there is a skill to writing articles that only very few posses and honestly you got it. The combining of demonstrative and upper-class content is by all odds super rare with the astronomic amount of blogs on the cyberspace.

Dr. Winters, your comments and aitnddoial information here are most welcome and appreciated. In my experience as a middle school teacher, too many struggling readers reach 7th or 8th grade without a correct diagnosis of what is actually causing their problems. You and your colleagues who are developmental optometrists provide services that can make all the difference in the life of a student with vision-related reading challenges. Thank you, Dr. Winters, for all you do to help these struggling readers.

I just participated in a cinninuotg education course at ICO. It is disheartening when top educators in the optometric field talk in terms of 2o/20 vision. The same language is present in our journals. There is no such thing as 2o/20 vision. It 20/20 visual acuity. It is sad when one branch of optometry is more interested in gaining acceptance by ophthalmology by using their language. Educators and people working with head injury patients become more confused about the difference between sight and vision. Sight is seeing clearly. Vision is perceiving, processing and performing. Vision is a sensory, cognitive and motor process. Furthermore, more people have learning related vision problems and vision problems following head injuries than actually require treatment for pathology. One out of 4 children is struggling or working below their potential because of convergence insufficiency. Optometrists are much more willing to refer to an opthamologist for pathology than to a behavioral/developmental optometrist to treat a binocular dysfunction.

Dr. Kevin Youck is a wonderful optometrist. He is so kind and really goes out of his way to help. I have major eye sight and eye medical issues, my eyes are a challenge to the eye medical world and Dr. Youck cared enough to spend a lot of time researching contact lenses for me. I highly recommend him as a caring and helpful optometrist.

I had Dr. Lenarcik when I went in the first time. It was supposed to be just for a prescription for a new pair of glasses, but upon seeing that my vision was -15 (yes, it can get that bad), Dr. Lenarcik suggested I take extra wide-range pictures of my retina as well as see a specialist. Roll forward a year and I've had several procedures to correct microscopic tears in my retina, catching them early before they got any worse. Dr. Lenarcik is a great doctor who always puts his patient's health foremost, I would highly recommend him.
